HELP I NEED TO PAY MY RENT [01 Jun 2006|01:14am]

parapluiesdoux
I'm preparing to move into an apartment and have recently cleaned out my rom. I have a lot of SUM 41 items that I have obtained through the Bomb Squad and as a fan over the years. One is listed on ebay and the rest I would like to sell privately (because all of those fees add up). I feel that these items would better serve a fan than someone on ebay. If you have any questions, PLEASE contact me.
I have a poster (promotional), a tour poster, and arm bands.

Read more...Collapse )

If this is not allowed (I looked at the rules but may have missed it_ please let me know. This has been x-posted.

Great news - though I may be late!
When I went to Warped Tour a few weeks ago, I went over to the Dropkick Murphy's tent and they were telling me about the new GIVE 'EM THE BOOT DVD from Hellcat that is going to be released next week. I've been waiting for something on the Hellcat bands and it's finally here. Its supposed to have lots of live performances by bands like Rancid, Transplants, Horrorpops, Tiger Army, and a lot more. Joe Strummer and Iggy Pop are on it too...plus all the Hellcat bands. By far this will be one of the best music DVD release all year!

sum 41 video for sale [25 Aug 2004|12:02am]

diediemydarling
I am selling a promotional/ advance copy SUM 41 video. It contains footage of them talking to fans, film clips of them doing Makes No Difference and a few other song clips. It also shows the band running around playing tricks on unexpecting people. This is something that was never available to the public. It was sent out as a promotional tool for their 2000 album, Half Hour Of Power. The video is in excellent condition, but because it is a promo it only comes in a generic box.

Total running time, approx 7:48. Island Def Jam Records.

Please note this is an american video and will only play in an NTSC VCR. Other countries would need to have it transferred.

This video is very rare & hard to find. I will accept $10 including shipping. Thanks!

The site also has a forum, mailing list, fan photos section and lots more extras coming soon.... it'll be updated regularly, promise.

I have a confession to make:

I haven't listened to Sum 41 in months.
This community is, well, dead.
And I have better things to do with my life now days.

So I regret to inform you that I am leaving the community.

See you around.

Here are two sites that have stories about Sum 41 and their work in Congo. Hope the sites work. ^_^

Sum's Newsletter [01 Jun 2004|02:40pm]

[ mood | happy ]

Hello Goons!
The band was recently in New York City to rehearse and we snuck in to the studio to take some photos. They never knew what hit them. Check out the photos section of sum41.com to see the latest polaroids.

Sum 41 is featured in the current AP Warped Tour issue in the "In The Studio" section. Besides the studio info you can enter the AP Magazine contest where you can win an iPod Mini, a Pac Sun shopping spree or music from bands playing the Warped Tour.

If you haven't checked out the tour page lately then you would have missed new tour dates added like the band's two Zumiez Couch Tour events (June 9th in Mesa, AZ and June 22nd in Portland, OR). All info on these shows is in the news page too so make sure to get the info and go see the band play live.
And for those fans who like to keep tabs on the band's whereabouts as if they tagged them with a GPS, here is your latest update: The band is currently in the Congo for the filming of the War Child Documentary we told you about in the last newsletter. The documentary is titled "From The Front Lines" and you can read their daily diaries from The Congo starting today at www.warchild.ca

I posted this in another Sum community but I figured I'd post it in here too. Later.

I was learning “Motivation” on my bass but Zenon got side tracked and showed me how the guitar part for “Still Waiting” went. It is impossible to play the guitar part on one guitar, but since Derek and Dave play it together it’s awesome. I just thought that it was pretty cool. Turn off one of your speakers and then the other and you’ll see.

*Does happy dance. * I got the Rock Against Bush today from Borders! It is an awesome cd. The Sum 41 song "Moron" is really cool. The bass starts the song. ^_^ Thats it. I'm just happy to have my cd.

hey guys! i know my icon is of blink...but i love sum also! anyway...i really think that we could shape this community up...no more arguements...unless theyre deciding whether cone is better or steve-o or whoever else you want to argue about...hehe. and you know what, so what if we cant spell, id rather skateboard than do homework. so i'll do my part and telling other people about this place but you guys should try and do it too! k?

It appears that this community hasn't changed that much over night.
It's funny to scroll down and read that you guys don't have members. People look at layouts and spelling before they join and this community isn't good for either of those things. If I knew how to do layouts at all I would make one, but since I don't, thats out the window.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have to say, I've been to enough concerts and when I seen Sum 41 for the second time in September `03, they completely topped off what would be called a 'deadly' show. They rocked. They did everything a good band should do. And not to mention how nice and sweet they are to all of they're fans.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Leave a comment & tell me your favorite member.
Also, they're full name, birthday, current age, place they were born, and anything extra you know about the band member. I want to see who really likes Sum 41 in this community.
Looking at other sites and information on Sum 41 will be cheating, I want to know what you know by heart.

The longer people take to reply to this, shows how much they like these guys.

As a true Sum 41 fan, I have to say that its wrong that you guys can't even spell "TRUE" or "STRAIGHT." I've noticed that this community doesn't know much about spelling, or the band by the looks of it. All anyone has to say is "Yeah, Sum 41 rocks man! Punk is so cool," even though Sum 41 isn't a punk band.
Those boys are amazing and extremely talented and this community is pretty dead

If you want people to join you have to actually have interesting things in here, As a Cone obsesser I can tell you just about everything about him. I bet not alot of people in here can, just by your spelling/grammar skills.

This place wouldn't be half bad if you actually held some interesting information and other random things.

*sigh*

It's a shame that such a wonderful band has to belong to a community like this. Really.
